Two floors
Coffee down, soft-play up.
The counter and window seats are downstairs — pull up a stool, watch the trains pull into Newquay station, let the day unfold over a flat white. Upstairs is the kids' zone: a soft-play tucked above the cafe so parents can hand over the colouring pens and finish their coffee in peace.

Family-run since May 2023
We opened SALTD to be the cafe Newquay was missing.
Saltd opened opposite Newquay station in May 2023. Two years on it's a family-run brunch counter, a community living room, and the first proper coffee of the day for everyone heading to the beach.
What started as a cafe is now also where Mums Meets, the Dads Stroller Club, and the Parent Carer Coffee & Chat all happen — our quiet conviction that a cafe should be more than a transactional caffeine stop.
